WHAT HAPPENED TO JUNE?
Time really does fly when you're having fun. Ok, maybe some of it wasn't fun, but we did have a lot happening in June. Had company a couple of times - that was fun. Got K & J kinda settled and the party done. That was fun. Finished the trim on A & Z's house. That was fun. Sadee had her ears fixed. That was only fun afterwards, and she's still having a bit of trouble, so not fun right now. However, we have seen a side of her that hadn't manifested before. She is making a lot of new sounds and is spunkier. Still tons of fun for the most part. Walking and running everywhere, and not afraid of much. She has developed this little shy routine when anyone first talks to her, but she warms up in no time. She gives great kisses.
I was in Austin last week with A & M helping them move. It's a cute apartment, but smaller, so I brought some stuff home to store until they need it. Larry was so excited about that...ha. He's trying so hard to get stuff out of there and get it organized. Eventually he will have it like he wants it. He really is making progress.
He and Jody have actually started on the infamous bathroom shower window rock wall. I have hope I can take down the ugly shower curtain sometime this year and peer out at beautiful plants and rock work. I think it's going to be beautiful.
Marissa & some of her friends are planning a girls weekend here sometime soon. Looking forward to that. I met many of her friends this week. We will have fun. Weekend before last we went to Goldthwaite and had a belated Father's day weekend/Weezie BD weekend. I even put new strings on my guitar and we had a little "sanging" with all of us and all the Flemings. I think everybody had fun. Adm played along even tho that was not his forte or style. We are working on finding a middle ground for our music. My fingers were smarting a bit since I had not played in over 1 1/2 years. I plan on getting back into the swing of that. Singing is good for the soul.
So that is my latest update. Much more going on, but don't have the energy to put it all down now and you don't have the time to read it anyway. Maybe next time I will put more pics of Sadee or a new rock wall.
