Just a "short" update
Hopefully this will be short, but I'm not known for that. Had a great trip to Scottsdale. It is a beautiful place, but different than central Texas beauty. I love it where I'm at right now. Lots of building and planning to build going on around us. Jody & Karen are actually in their "barn". I need to go take some pics and post them here. It is quite a place. Their vision shows, and they are just getting started.
Karen & I have been hanging out a lot as the project is wrapping up. She is here right now and they will go back the end of this month to start the final packing and be here permanently around the middle of April. Man, that is coming up. I think they are really going to enjoy it here. Got to see their beautiful little family (daughter & her husband & kids) last week. They only live about 2 1/2 hours away, so we will be making a few runs that way too.
Had a sweet visit from my younger daughter this weekend. That is always a treat. We just hung out, watched a little tube and drove around the countryside looking at houses. Nice to be so close, but I need to make more trips that direction as well.
But the big news is Sadee is ONE. Wow, this was a fast year. She is walking a little more each day, but is real cautious with it. That's good, fewer booboos. Andra & Zach had a small bash for her with family and a few friends. It was an all day affair and fun was had by all. Unfortunately, Andra was recovering from being really sick, so she didn't have a lot of energy, and Sadee was just getting sick, so she was a smidge cranky, but still we managed to have a good time. Andra & Zach gave Sadee a little swing seat thing, and they put it up outside in a little circle of trees where we were all sitting. She absolutely loved it. Wouldn't let us take her out of it and actually took a little nap just swinging there. That was a big hit. She is sooo much fun. She is even getting to be real happy to see us and sad when we leave.
Ok, I'm off for another long day of returning, searching and buying with Karen. We are nearing an end, maybe. Now TAG, it's your turn.
