Ok, ok, ok

Drum roll please......tatatatatatatatata

Here are pictures. Thanks to Wendy & Tom getting me started, and I took a few more, you can get a peek. Still don't have many pictures hung on the walls and don't have pictures posted of the guest livingroom, but at least you can get an idea. Hope that will suffice for now.

Lar is coming home early today & we are going to get flagstone for the front walk. He plans on doing it over the weekend. That will be nice. We have a ton of things to do outside. Wish we had thought of doing it as we built the house and rolled that into the financing. Oh well, it will be cash as we go. That's ok. We need something to keep us busy, right? Right.

I am suprised at myself and how reluctant I am to put a hole in the walls. I sure never hesitated before. I'll get over it, trust me. But in the mean time, I am still deciding on what to hang where. I think my friend Miralee is smart. She sells almost everything when she moves and starts over. I should have done more of that cause now I don't want to use a lot of the stuff I have. Weird. I'm kind of content without much on the walls, but like I said, I'm sure I'll get over that.

I do need to settle on what to use for coffee tables in the livingroom. Want to vote on it? Like I would do what you said, but you can chime in anyway. I am leaning toward 2 narrow ottoman (or is it ottomen?)and putting a tray on them to set stuff on. I have found some I like, but haven't decided. I have also thought of one ottoman and 1 rectangular table. I could, of course, do a very large square table, but I'm not leaning that way. It would have to be VERY big.

We need patio furniture too. Will probably wait for the sales. I haven't seen exactly what I want anyway - at least in a price range I will spend. So we are making do, but that is fine.

We have to bring in a lot of top soil to do something with the area right around the front and back porches. Hope we get that done before too long, but we will see. In the mean time Lar planted some type of grass to just hold dirt in place. It helps alot.

Our neightbors gave us an Oklahoma Redbud tree. I've got to plant it this weekend before it dies..just haven't decided where. But I think I know. It blooms pretty blossums they say. That's nice. We need Jody to come and tell us what to do with the outside, like he has nothing else to do.

Sadee has grown A LOT in the last few days. She is over 10 lbs and is an eating machine. She sure gets her way around here. But that's what grandpa/grandma's house is for, right? She's just getting an extra large dose of it to start off her life. She is more fun. Can't wait to watch her personality develop.

Ok, I'll hush. Ya'll come see us. Maybe you can hang a picture or something.
